Bring on those "Wedding Dogs!"

In this wonderful work that I do, one of the wedding ceremonies that I love the most includes a beloved "Wedding Dog." Yes, take a breath. A "Wedding Dog!"

Last year, I officiated six weddings where a couple's beloved pooch walked down the aisle, often sporting a beautiful ribbon which held the wedding rings. I even had one dog who carried the ring pillow in it's mouth!

At a wedding ceremony, emotions are all over the place. And two things can never do anything wrong: dogs and little people, i.e., children. During a processional, a wedding dog, ring bearer or flower girl bring such incredible joy and smiles to family and friends. Dogs love the attention and featured in this post is Bailey, who actually stood with the groomsmen during a very beautiful wedding ceremony for his guardians, Josh and Bethany, at A Country Location in Arlington.

I ask you to consider adding what brings great joy to a wedding ceremony - or any life major event for that matter. And many woofs to Bailey for being such a great ambassador for his furry friends!
